Decades of experience, one point of contact.
Twin Fish Group's work spans global CPG powerhouses, regional and family-owned brands, retail, hospitality/foodservice, and mission-driven nonprofits. The common thread is brands and businesses at a turning point — growing, changing, or in need of sharper direction — and the strategy, brand building, and marketing work it takes to get there.
Experience includes work for and with brands such as Kraft, Mondelez, Nabisco, Post, Planters, OREO, Chiquita, Ahold Delhaize (Food Lion, Stop & Shop, Giant, Hannaford), Albertsons, Family Dollar, Lidl, Mars, Danone, Ferrero, Ferrara, Sigma, Fiorucci, The Laughing Cow, Cargill, and a range of restaurant, retail, and nonprofit organizations — some as direct clients of Twin Fish Group, some through Heath's roles leading Team Creatif USA and prior corporate brand teams.
How we work
Twin Fish Group was built by a strategist and brand creator with deep, hands-on experience across CPG, retail, foodservice, and agency leadership — paired with a trusted network of designers, researchers, marketers, and other specialists matching the scope of the work. That structure keeps engagements lean and senior-led, while drawing on a broad range of skillsets for project needs.
Heath Osburn
Heath founded Twin Fish Group in 2012 after more than a decade in corporate brand leadership and a move to Charlotte that turned into a decision to stay and build something of his own. LinkedIn →
His path started early — a first job at 14½ in Memphis, then a string of jobs through high school and college that provided paychecks, and more importantly, taught him about people. His initial career role, selling cookies and crackers for Nabisco across territories in northern Indiana, is where the real education began: what motivates people, how they make decisions, and — through a string of bosses both good and not — the value of clear goals, communication, planning, adaptability, and perseverance. Asking "why," finding the answer, and asking "why" again eventually turned tactical work into strategic thinking, and that shift stuck.
From there, brand leadership roles at Kraft/Mondelez (Post, Planters, OREO), a General Manager role at Chiquita, and a Director role rebuilding Ahold Delhaize's private brand organization took him to different parts of the country and different kinds of businesses — CPG, retail, agency, hospitality — each adding perspective. An influential mentor imparted an important habit — starting new working relationships with a short "Who I Am" discussion. This stuck with him, and he still uses the practice today to build faster, more-effective, more-human working relationships.
He's guided by a simple philosophy: discover foundational truths, determine a purpose and path, drive action for change. That thinking, along with an ongoing curiosity about design, photography, food, architecture, and the outdoors, shapes both how Twin Fish Group approaches brand challenges and how Heath shows up for people.
